Judith D. Boa, 74, of Las Cruces, died Friday, March 1, 2013. Judi as she was fondly known was born March 4, 1938 in Seattle, WA to Dallas L. Donnan and Barbara Ehrlich Donnan. She was a graduate of Saint Nicholas High School Class of ‘56’ in Seattle, WA, attended Centeniry College in Hackettstown, NJ class of ‘58’ and the University of Washington Class of ‘60’. Judi had been a police officer with the Seattle Police Dept. with more than 7 years of faithful service, she was an avid golfer including 2 holes in one, enjoyed home restorations, gardening, wood working and traveling, but her passion was for her family. Mrs. Boa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Judi is survived by her loving husband of 38 years whom she married in Seattle, WA on May 1, 1975, Ernest D.S. Boa of the family home; daughter Tina Boa-Robinette and husband Michael of Fremont, Ohio; brother Dallas “Mike” DeHaven Donnan; grandchildren Sierra, Carly and Kaitlyn. Judi is also survived by her nieces Dorothy Launius of Grapevine, TX, Deborah Stamey of Seattle, WA and Barbara Cleventer of Arlington, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents Dallas and Barbara Donnan and a brother Thomas Donnan. At the family request cremation will take place and private services will be held at a later date.
