Soledad "Chole" Rodriguez 84 was born on December 5, 1937, in Durango, Chihuahua, Mexico went to heaven on April 12, 2022. She was a very loving, caring mother and homemaker. She was employed for many years as a housekeeper for many different local hotels. She was married to Lorenzo Rodriguez for 50 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lorenzo Rodriguez, her mother Emeila Soto, one son Pedro Hernandez, sister Lupe Rios, two sons-in-law James Garcia and Felipe Lopes, two grandsons: Anthony Lopez and Jose Mejia Jr. and great grandchild Analisa Estrada Lopez.
She is survived by her sister Candelaria Martinez, children Terry Ramirez, Edward Ramirez (Mona), Olga Perea (Richard)p, Susan Apodaca, Bertha Ramirez, Rosa Ramirez, Margaret Garcia (Roland), Rachel Tapia (Pete), Maria Mejia (Joe), and Veronica Rodriguez, 28 grandchildren, and 40 great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her loved ones.
Services are scheduled for Thursday, April 21, 2022, beginning at 6:00 pm with a visitation at Getz Funeral Home, 1410 E. Bowman Ave. Las Cruces NM 88001 with a rosary following at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Genevieve Catholic Church at 10:00 am on Friday, April 22, 2022, with burial to immediately follow at Dona Ana Cemetery. Pallbearers will be immediate family members.
