Obituary for William Alden Cogdill

William “Bill” Alden Cogdill 68, passed on Sunday, January 22, 2023, in Las Cruces New Mexico. Bill was born on December 19, 1954, in Eart Prairie, Missouri to William and Lena Ann (Morrison) Cogdill.
Bill graduated from Mayfield High School in 1973 and was a dedicated Correctional Officer at the Southern New Mexico Corrections where he served 25 years. Bill had a love for music, he loved to sing and had an Angelic Voice. He spent many hours with his family playing guitar and singing.
He is survived by his Fiancé Nancy Malis of the home, sisters; Connie Fields of Rogers, Arkansas and Kathey Tobey husband Jerry of Rogers Arkansas, brothers; Michael Hunsperger wife Shelly of Murphysboro, Illinois, Kenny Cogdill wife Tracy of Rogers Arkansas, Lee Cogdill wife Mary of Wesley, Arkansas. He was loved very much by his nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Lena Ann Morrison and William Orphia Cogdill.
