It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin & friend Linda Rose Aceves. Linda entered the kingdom of heaven on Friday, May 5th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family in Las Cruces New Mexico . Linda was born on June 1st, 1961 in El Paso TX to Miguel and Susana Mendez. She was a Las Cruces High graduate & became a CNA. Linda was a free spirit who loved attending any type of social gatherings with family and friends. She also loved baking, swimming, dancing, music and country cruises. She loved making her family laugh & will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Juan “Johnny” Aceves , her grandmother, Theodora Delgado; mother Susana Delgado Mendez; her brothers Edmundo Covarrubias & Mike Mendez Jr., sisters Magdalena Orosco & Sylvia Loretta Garcia. Linda will never be forgotten by her father Miguel Mendez Sr., daughter Sonja D. Salaiz; son Anthony Ray Holguin; stepdaughter Stephanie Medrano, grandchildren Joe Michael, Anthony “Ray Ray”, Alijah, Andrew, Zarianna, Christopher, Mariah, Mia, Xavier & Melanie. Constance, Annmarie & Elijah; brothers, Joe D Mendez, Ruben Mendez (Diana); sisters Susan Lopez and Graciela Barron (Ernesto).Numerous loving nieces, nephews & friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Getz Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 2:00 pm
