Albert Stanley Dimsha, 90 years of age, went to be with our Lord on December 23, 2012. He was born in Livingston, Illinois on July 18, 1922. When he was 18 he joined the air force. While stationed at the Hobbs Airbase he met his wife to be, Ethel Helen Fisher. After attending the Boeing Flight School in Seattle, Washington, Al was certified a flight engineer on the B-29 bomber. He flew 17 missions with the 6th Bomber Group, based on Tinian Island. After the war, Al founded a construction company in Lovington. He enjoyed a wonderful retirement with homes in Cloudcroft, Alamogordo, and Las Cruces. His is survived by his wife of 70 years, Ethel Dimsha; 3 sons, Stanley Dimsha, Richard Dimsha and wife Denise of Las Cruces, and Alan Dimsha and wife Margery of Lovington; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lovington or to Mesilla Valley Hospice. PDF Printable Version
