Alejandro Hernandez Cobarrubia Jr. "Alex" 61, of Las Cruces, NM entered into eternal rest on November 23, 2014 in El Paso, Texas. Alex was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico on December 15, 1952 to Alejandro M. Cobarrubia and Inocencia Hernandez. He graduated high school in 1970 and married Tomasa V. Cobarrubia. Alex had a lot of friends. His hobbies included Fishing, building car models and loved to watch all baseball teams. Alex is preceded in death by two brothers Gilberto H. Cobarrubia and Joe H. Cobarrubia as well as two sisters Maria Joventina Ortega and Erlinda C. Robles. He is survived by his daughters Ignosencia V. "Iggy" and spouse Andrew Campos, Perla M. Macias and companion Ben Martinez, Grandchildren Carlos A. Macias, Yesenia M. Macias, Martin A. Macias, Adan Campos, Jacqueline Macias, Jasmine Macias, Jaylynn Macias, Janette Macias, sisters Tiburcia Salas, Juana Morales and spouse Joe, Minerva Torres and spouse Antonio, Dolores Fernandez, Rosa-Lima C. Johnson and spouse Jessie, and brother Pete Cobarrubia. He is also survived by daughters Alejandra and Blanca Cobarrubia alongside many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 6 to 7 PM followed by a prayer vigil at 7 PM at Getz Funeral Home Chapel.
