Alexandra (Sandy), Janowiecki, a resident of Las Cruces New Mexico, passed away on Tue, October 26th, 2021, and is now in God's hands. She was born October 22nd, 1935, in Toledo, Ohio to Edward and Dorothy (Moroczkowski) Janowiecki. As a young girl, Alexandra worked in her Fathers Bakery and attended Central Catholic High School. In 1954 she married Charles P Stranc. Alexandra worked in merchandising, for both Petrie and Kmart Stores. In the Mid 1960's, she moved to a Ranch in Colorado east of Boulder, where she became interested in riding and raising horses. Eventually she brought the first Trakehner breed of horse to Colorado. "Sandy" enjoyed her Beagles, Luke & Leggins. She was very active, hiking in the outdoors, History and Travel, and as a continuing education student at The University of Colorado. She was able to enjoy many trips to Europe, most memorable, the ones taken with her sister Carol, and visiting her home county of Poland. "Sandy" retired to Las Cruces, New Mexico, and has spent many years doing volunteer work and was actively involved with charities. She was devout in her faith, and although separated by great distances, was devoted to her Family. "Sandy" was preceded in her Death by her Siters, Carol, Janice, and her brother Edward. She is survived by her son, Charles Stranc II, (Carol), Grandchildren, Crystal Marie Strobel, (Eugene) and Charles P Stranc Ill. Great Grandchildren Isaiah Enzo, and Jasmine. Services are scheduled for Monday Dec. 6, 2021, beginning at 1:00 pm at Getz Funeral Home 1410 E. Bowman Ave. Las Cruces, NM 88001. With burial to follow at San Albino Cemetery in Mesilla New Mexico. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Las Cruces Gospel Mission for the homeless. Service Information
