Alfred Ortiz Lopeztello 42, of Foothill Ranch, California went to eternal rest on August 26, 2007. He was born October 31, 1964 in El Paso, Texas. He grew up in San Miguel, New Mexico and graduated from Las Cruces High School. He attended New Mexico State University for 2 years after he graduated from high school and then he joined the United States Marine Corps. He served in the United States Marine Corps for seven years as a Military Police Officer and then an Intelligence Specialist and spent one year in Iraq fighting in the Gulf War. After his time in the Marine Corps he continued his career in Law Enforcement for the next eleven years with the Department of Justice as a Senior Federal Officer. He was a truly passionate man who loved sports and enjoyed playing basketball. He was a family man who always put his family first. He has spent the last 18 years in Orange County, California with his wife and daughter. Alfred is survived by his wonderful wife of 18 years Tondria Isaacs Lopeztello, his daughter Ashley Nichole Lopeztello, his mother Consuelo Alcala, his grandfather Tereso Ortiz, his brother Armando Alcala and wife Lupe of Pensacola, Florida, his sister Alicia Malpass and husband Patrick of Ft Worth, Texas, his Aunt Calacha Graciano and his nieces Patricia Malpass, Kayla Isaacs and Kayci Isaacs and his nephews Malcolm Alcala, David and Daniel Alcala, Joshua Malpass and Austin Isaacs. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother Maria Ortiz Graciano, his father in law Dr. Willie P. Isaacs and his sister in law Donna Marie Isaacs Hernandez. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. with Rosary Services starting at 7:00 p.m. Sunday September 2, 2007 at Getz Funeral Home, 1410 E. Bowman Las Cruces, New Mexico 88001. The funeral service will take place on Monday September 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church in San Miguel, New Mexico, with burial services at Masonic Cemetery immediately following the funeral service. Pallbearers will be Tereso Ortiz, Ramon Ortiz, Armando Alcala, Malcolm Alcala, Patrick Malpass, Willie Isaacs and Blaine Isaacs. Honorary Pallbearer will be Zack Isaacs.
