Alice Faye Miles, 77, of Las Cruces, New Mexico passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 19, 2018. From her birth in Rincon, New Mexico on June 5, 1941 until her death on Sunday she nourished family and friends with her kind words, tender ways and spirituality. Alice Faye Miles, 77, of Las Cruces, New Mexico passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 19, 2018. From her birth in Rincon, New Mexico on June 5, 1941 until her death on Sunday she nourished family and friends with her kind words, tender ways and spirituality. She was born to Howard and Irene (Sullivan) Haddox and was the fifth of nine children. Alice spent much of her working life managing the Pancake Alley but when an opportunity arose for her to retire and spend time with her grandchildren she jumped at the chance and loved every second of it. Alice lead a very spiritual life allowing the word of God to guide her down her path. Left to honor and remember her love are Alice's two children Huey "Skip" Jr. and wife Vonda Jake Miles, Leslie and husband Brian Bullard; seven grandchildren; Brandon Nall, Amber and husband Marcus Sanchez, Curtis Nunez, Bruce Miles, Travis "Ray" and wife Alison Miles, Jedekiah Stailey, Teylor Stailey; eleven great grandchildren; Brianna, Abby, Kailey, Braydon, Emily, Dylon, Connor, Rebekah, Clarabella, Cora and Curtis Lane; sisters Susan Fiske, Nancy Lee, Mildred McCullough and brother David and wife Donna Haddox and many nieces and nephews. Alice is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Howard, James and Delbert, sister Carolyn and Huey Miles and James Ramsey. In celebration of Alice's life, a viewing will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Getz Funeral Home 1410 E. Bowman Ave. and services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 10:00am at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens 5140 W.
