Alice P. Gault, 95, of Santa Teresa, N.M. died Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Born, raised and lived in Chicago, IL for 73 years before moving to Santa Teresa in 1987. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Theodore C. Gault. Alice P. Gault, 95, of Santa Teresa, N.M. died Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Born, raised and lived in Chicago, IL for 73 years before moving to Santa Teresa in 1987. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Theodore C. Gault. She is survived by her three children: Florence Schetgen (Russell) of Santa Teresa, Dorothy Gault-McNemee, MD (Richard) of Santa Teresa & Theodore D. Gault (Donna) of Elk Grove Village, IL. She was the grandmother of five and great grandmother of four. We were blessed to have her be a full-time mom and homemaker during our young lives before she embarked on a new career as a first grade teacher in Chicago for 16 years. She was a graduate of the University of Chicago when she was only 20 years old. She was always a devoted and loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was fortunate to have loving caretakers for these last nine months: Bertha DeBarr, her sisters Elena and Gladys and their mother Bernadette Alva. A memorial service will be held June 26, which would have been the folks' 72nd wedding anniversary.
