Allie Agnezija Ravak, aka Bama, 24, passed away suddenly on Saturday September 20th, 2014. Allie was born on September 23rd, 1989 at Torrejn Air Base, Spain. She was the beloved daughter of Brian and Shelly Ravak of Las Cruces, NM, and brothers Joshua Ravak of Las Cruces, and Caleb Ravak of Rittman, OH. Allie Agnezija Ravak, aka Bama, 24, passed away suddenly on Saturday September 20th, 2014. Allie was born on September 23rd, 1989 at Torrejn Air Base, Spain. She was the beloved daughter of Brian and Shelly Ravak of Las Cruces, NM, and brothers Joshua Ravak of Las Cruces, and Caleb Ravak of Rittman, OH. Allie was an energetic, cheerful, and caring young lady who never met a stranger; she lived to make others happy. She enjoyed music, painting, Ohio State football, and watching the Red Sox beat the Yankees. Allie was a 2008 graduate of Prattville High School in Alabama and a former student of the Montgomery School of Bodywork & Massage (Montgomery, AL) and the Massage Therapy Training Institute in Las Cruces. She loved the mountains and the desert of the southwest and particularly loved hiking in the Organ Mountains with her friend Robert Tafoya. Allie volunteered with "Famous on the Weekend" entertainment and modeled for DJ Phat Tony. She is survived by her grandparents Cecilia Ravak and Thomas Merritt of Altamonte Springs, FL, Forrest and Marie May of Doylestown, OH, uncles Kevin Ravak of Moscow, ID, Aaron Ravak of Altamonte Springs, FL, Gary Stewart (Beth) of Doylestown, OH, aunts Janice Steiner (Larry) of Wingate, NC, Donna Thomas of Barberton, OH, Melanie Stewart, St. Louis, KS, Cindy Duncan of Akron, OH, and Sherri Johnson (David) of Rittman, OH, numerous cousins, and her dog Marley. Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, September, 26th, 2014 at Getz Funeral Home on Bowman Avenue in Las Cruces. Funeral service will be held at Getz Funeral Home on Saturday, September, 27th, 2014 at 10 AM followed by a graveside service at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery. Chaplain Kevin Rash of Holloman Air Force Base, NM will preside over the services. Reception will follow at VFW Post 6917 located at 5845 Bataan Memorial West, Las Cruces, NM. PDF Printable Version
