Amada Soto, 95 years old of Anthony, NM died Sunday, October 30, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born September 11, 1910 in Chihuahua, Mexico. Amada had been in the Las Cruces area for about the last 50 years, was a homemaker and a member of Cristo Vive Church in El Paso, Texas. Amada is survived by her grandson, Robert A. Sanchez and his wife Gloria of Anthony, NM; five great grandchildren, Susana Franco of El Paso, TX; Robert Sanchez Jr. of Anthony, NM; Miguel Sanchez of Chaparral, NM; Juan Sanchez of Anthony, NM and Raquel Sanchez of Anthony, NM. Two great-great grandchildren, Roberto Josue Sanchez and Patrick Franco Jr. also survive her. Also a special friend of the family, the Bernie Carrillo family. A visitation will be from 11 AM to 12 noon at Getz Funeral Home on Thursday, November 3, 2005. The Funeral Service will follow at 12 noon also at Getz Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be her grandson, Pastor Robert Sanchez of Cristo Vive Church in El Paso, TX. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
