Andrew Frankie Maldonado

Andrew Frankie Maldonado, 33, of Las Cruces, NM died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009. He was born Nov. 29, 1976 in Las Cruces, NM to Juan and Lupe Apodaca Maldonado. He was a friend to all, always had a smile and enjoyed cutting and styling hair at wild styles salon. Andrew will be forever missed by all his family and friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by his mother Lupe Maldonado and companion Vance Anglin of Las Cruces, NM; brothers Robert Maldonado and companion Erma and Johnny Maldonado all of Las Cruces, NM; uncle Robert Apodaca of Las Cruces, NM; aunts Lisa Apodaca of Las Cruces, NM, Natalia Saenz of Phoenix, AZ, Beatrice Park of San Francisco, CA, Maria Apodaca of Las Cruces, NM, Angie Hoffman and husband Steve of Salt Lake City, Utah, Jenny and Dennis Wong of Pacifica, CA and Adela Lyau of Freemont, CA; nephews Manny Apodaca, Josh, Daniel Maldonado, Chris Taylor and Cody; nieces Lakreisha Apodaca, Jessica Maldonado, Lacey and Jennifer. Andrew was preceded in death by his father Juan Maldonado; grandparents Juan and Angelita Apodaca; aunt Rose Mary Schmidt, Annie Maldonado and uncles Roy, Henry Maldonado. A visitation will be held fro 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010 at Getz Funeral Home where a prayer vigil will follow at 7 pm. Andrew's funeral mass is at 2:00 pm on Friday, Jan. 8, 2010 at Our Lady of Purification in Dona Ana, NM with Fr. Miguel Macaya officiating. Rite of Committal will be at the Dona Ana Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert, Joshuah, Daniel, Cody and Chris Maldonado, Ivan Gaytan. Honorary Pallbearers are Johnny Maldonado, Gilbert Pena and Vance Anglin. PDF Printable Version
