Our Beloved Wife and Mother, Anita D. Zertuche, 76 of Las Cruces, NM went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 6, 2009. She was born March 5, 1933 in Berino, NM to Calletano and Maria Duran. Our Beloved Wife and Mother, Anita D. Zertuche, 76 of Las Cruces, NM went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 6, 2009. She was born March 5, 1933 in Berino, NM to Calletano and Maria Duran. Anita was a homemaker and a member of Sinai Church in Las Cruces. A lifelong area resident, she was active in her church and enjoyed being with her family. She was the most loving, caring person who touched and enriched the lives of all who came to know her. Our greatest comfort is knowing she has gone home to be with her Heavenly Father. Anita is survived by her husband of 59 years, Horacio Zertuche of Las Cruces; three daughters, Erlinda (Linda) Ontiveros and husband, Benny of El Paso, TX; Lorraine Ontiveros and Jenny Ruiz both of Las Cruces. Two sisters, Angie Garcia of Las Cruces and Gloria Sandoval and husband Fernando of Cerritos, CA as well as seven grandchildren, Monique Ontiveros, Melissa Guzman, Melinda Ramirez, Junior Ruiz, Elizabeth Villarreal, Annette Ontiveros, and Benny Ontiveros Jr,.and nine great grandchildren also survive her. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ramona Montoya and Juven Ransom and two brothers, George Granados and Frank Duran. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Getz Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will follow at 7 pm. The Funeral Service will be at 10 am on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Prudencio Guerrero of El Paso, TX. Serving, as pallbearers will be Benny Ontiveros Sr, Benny Ontiveros Jr, Junior Ruiz, Gavino Zertuche, David Zertuche, and Miguel Ramirez.
