She is survived by her husband Vernon Lee Roy Roberts Sr., siblings: Toni Cumpton, Donald Jackson, Annie Andersen, children: Debra Roberts, Karen R. Lorang, Michelle Johnson (Cloud), Michael J. Cloud, Michael L. Roberts, Dominic J. Doucet-Lorang, grandchildren: Mark Bradley Roberts, Jenny S. Lorang, Nicole Metz, Melissa Johnson, Mason Cloud, Logan Cloud, Gerald W. Roberts, Kyle Roberts, Kristopher C. Lorang, James LR Jaramillo, Jeffery A. Jackson, Jennifer Paul, Kimberly Roberts, Lindsey Kompkoff, Caelan Z. Doucet-Lorang, many great-grandchildren and a great great-granddaughter.
During her lifetime she has lived in many different states. She has been active in her church for many years, and Eastern Star from 1995 to 2023. She was an avid Square dancer and made many of their outfits. She enjoyed traveling, camping/RVing, fishing, painting and doing ceramics. She performed in the Living Christmas tree at First Baptist Church in Las Cruces NM for several years. She helped with the East Mesa Baptist Church Food pantry.
A memorial Service is scheduled at 11:00 am on Monday December 4, 2023 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel.
