Family brought her to Las Cruces in 1976, where she met and married her late husband John R. Christian in 1982. Anne M. Christian (Verheyen) entered enternal life April 2, 2021 in Rio Rancho, NM. Anne was born April 6, 1959 in Buffalo, NY to Robert and Marie Verheyen. Family brought her to Las Cruces in 1976, where she met and married her late husband John R. Christian in 1982. They had three daughters which she raised as a single mother after her husbands passing. Anne obtained her BA Degree in Business but choose to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant as her passion was to help others. Anne is preceded in death by her husband John R. Chrisitian, her mother Marie G. Verheyen and grandson Jonathan Christian-Abeyta. Anne is survived by her daughters Jackie Rae, Shana Ann of Las Cruces, NM and Wendy Marie Christian of Rio Rancho, NM, her father Robert Verheyen of Las Cruces, sisters Cathy Specian of Rio Rancho, NM, Carol Brumbaugh, Patti Verheyen, and Nancy Escalera all of Las Cruces, NM as well as 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Anne will be laid to rest next to her husband at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Las Cruces, NM. She was Loved by many and will be greatly miss by family and friends. Interment Location
