Annie L. Gay passed away from this world, Jan. 6, 2005, at Casa del Sol, to join her husband in the next, surrounded by her loving family. Annie L. Gay passed away from this world, Jan. 6, 2005, at Casa del Sol, to join her husband in the next, surrounded by her loving family. She fought a very courageous battle before her heart gave out. Annie was born Oct. 14, 1918 in Blanchard, OK to Charlie N. Miller and Lillie Belle Miller. Annie married George H. Gay on June 27, 1945 making their permanent home in Hatch, NM. She is survived by one son Hubert L. Gay and his wife Leona of Las Cruces, Georgia A. Raga and her husband Larry of Artesia, NM and Barbara Franzoy and her husband Jerry of Hatch, NM. She will be lovingly missed by 10 grandchildren Michelle, Lisa, Denise, Shayne, Alicia, Lee, Fred, Larry, Jason and John, also by 22 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, 3 brothers and by her husband of 29 years Mr. George Gay. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Monday, Jan. 10, 2005 at Getz Funeral Home where a prayer vigil will follow at 7PM. Funeral Services are at 10 AM on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005 at Church of God in Hatch, NM with Rev. Jim Wood officiating. Burial will be at the Garden of Memories Cemetery also in Hatch. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association New Mexico Chapter, 1100 S. Main, Las Cruces, NM 88005. PDF Printable Version
