Antonia Perez, 86, of Las Cruces, NM passed away on March 17, 2006. She was born November 30, 1919 in Las Cruces NM to Marcos and Luz Lujan. Antonia was a devoted catholic attending every morning mass at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church, as well as being involved in many church activities. She would tend to the care of vestments. Antonia Perez, 86, of Las Cruces, NM passed away on March 17, 2006. She was born November 30, 1919 in Las Cruces NM to Marcos and Luz Lujan. Antonia was a devoted catholic attending every morning mass at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church, as well as being involved in many church activities. She would tend to the care of vestments. Antonia loved the church and would clean beans and fill cups of chili during fiesta as she entered her later years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart League as well as the Third League of St. Frances and Patch and Sew sewing group. Antonia was a devoted wife and mother who loved to cook and care for her family. She is survived by her brother Ramon Lujan, sisters Lorenza Lopez and Lucy Guzman, 3 sons Ernest Lopez, Martin Lopez and Orlando Perez, 2 daughters Deloris Vasquez and Olivia Molina, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Antonia was preceded in death by 2 husbands Ernesto Lopez sr. and Jose C Perez, 3 brothers Mike Lujan, Pablo Lujan and Santiago Lujan, 1 sister Virginia Santana and 1 daughter Rebecca Perez. A visitation will be held on Monday March 20, 2006 from 5-7 PM at Getz Funeral Home with a prayer vigil to follow at 7PM at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church. The Mass will be given Tuesday at 1PM at the St. Genevieve's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Josephs Cemetery. Officiating will be Fr. Ricardo Bauza. Pallbearers will be Robert Vasquez, Tommy Vasquez, Carlos Benavidez, Eric Martinez, Ernest Lopez Jr., and Martin Lopez Jr. PDF Printable Version
