Ashley Dawn Wax

Ashley Dawn Wax, entered eternal life at the young age of 15, Sunday, February 27, 2005. She was born August 17, 1989 in Las Cruces, New Mexico, to John and Darla Wax. Ashley, a tenth grader at Las Cruces High School, was a popular, active and outgoing young lady involved with many extra curricular activities. She excelled as a member of the Performing Dance Troup as well as in academics and sports. Ashley also was a Level 6 gymnast with Gym Magic. She had many friends and no one remained a stranger for long. You were always greeted with a hug, a smile and then the departing words, "I love you." She was loved not only by her friends, but she was adored by her family, especially her cousins. She had such a love in her heart for the little ones. One of the most wonderful characteristics of Ashley was her quick wit and general humor. She could hold her own in any interaction. She exemplified the song, "YOU LIGHT UP MY LIFE'. Immediate survivors include her father, mother and brother, John, Darla and Trevor Wax.
