Audrey Louise Dean Crowson, born April 20, 1924 joined her heavenly Father on September 25, 2008 after a brief battle with cancer. Audrey was born in Wapanuka, Oklahoma to Lillian and Charlie Dean. On January 14, 1942 Audrey married her life partner, Fox Junior Crowson. They were together every day and accumulated many farms. Audrey loved her family, home, and yard. She had the most amazing swarm of humming birds that came and spent every summer under her kitchen window. When she was not working in her yard she was watching one or more baseball games on TV and listening to another on the radio. She was an astounding bowler and won city and state tournaments, and she won a gold medal bowling in the Senior Olympics last year. Surviving her is her husband of 66 years, Fox J.; sons, Freeland Crowson and wife Tina of Brodus, Texas and their children, Kelly, Shawn, Shannon, and Jackie, and Tommy Crowson of Phoenix, Arizona and his children, T.J. and Jaree. Also surviving Audrey are 13 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, two sisters, Joyce Pigg and Freda Nichols and one brother Raymond Dean. Many surviving nieces and nephews will remember her wonderful candy at Christmas. Her daughter, Jeanette; her mother and father, brothers, Bill and Vern and a great granddaughter Whitney precede Aubrey in death. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10 AM on Monday, September 29, 2008 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Steve Griffith officiating. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery. Serving, as pallbearers will be Shawn Crowson, Shannon Crowson, T.J. Crowson, Jackie Crowson, Billy Hollbrook, and Willie Koenig. Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Joe Koenig, Howie Koenig, Kenny Hollbrook, and Chuck Griffith.
