Barbara Ann Taylor, 64, left us for a much better place on June 22, 2009 after a short battle with cancer. She was born on April 19, 1945 in Pondicherry, French India. She had lived in southern New Mexico for over 36 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, granny, sister, aunt, and friend. She was always ready to help others and take care of everyone else. She enjoyed her family and grandchildren more than anything else, but had many interests. She was a marvelous cook, an avid reader, an Internet surfer and an email sender, a gardener, a fisherwoman, a John Wayne and Eyore (pooh) fan, and she liked to feed the one-arm bandits. She will be greatly missed by all of us who loved her. Barb left us too soon, but we know she is now in a pain free place with all of those who went before her. Barb is survived by her husband of 39+ years, Richard, her two daughters- Angela Hunt and Kathrine Lamkin, her son Bryan Taylor (Kendra), her grandchildren-Kyleen, Amanda, Kelsey, Justin, Kolten, Kaitlyn, Konnor, and Jacob, and by one great-grandson-Christopher. She is also survived by two sisters- Joanne Miller (Clyde) and Linda Morrow (ova) and their families-and by two aunts- Margaret Toots Tribby and her husband Bill and Anne Curran, and their families. There will be a memorial service held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday June 28, 2009 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4038, 980 17th Street (off Picacho), in Las Cruces. PDF Printable Version
