Barbara D. Bleimeyer

Barbara D. Bleimeyer, 75, of Las Cruces, died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009. She was born Aug. 29, 1933 in Crestone, CO to Frank and Etta Mae Wolfe Tooker. Barbara is well known as co-owner of the Automotive Center where she worked side by side with her late husband Herbert Bleimeyer. Barbara enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, reading and puzzles but her passion was for her family. She will be deeply missed by all her family and many friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children Larry Bleimeyer and wife Becky, Joan Bleimeyer, Kathy Alba and husband Eddie all of Las Cruces and Sheri Dugan and husband Billy of Sedan, NM; brothers Harry Delcambre and wife Janet of Merritt Island, FLA. and James Delcambre of Tremonton, Utah; sister Ruth Johnson and husband Doyle of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren Larry Jr. and wife Dawna, Natalie, Danielle and husband Justin, Angie and husband Albert, Jennifer, Heather, Brandy, Trisha and husband Fred, Adam and wife Valerie, Seth and wife Ashley, Jake and wife Kendra and Dawn. Also surviving Barbara are her 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Herbert Bleimeyer; parents; step-father Frenchy Delcambre; brothers Chuck, Frankie and Buddy and by sisters Margie, Charlene, Margo and Joy. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, Jan 30, 2009 at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009 also at Getz Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Carabotta of Mission Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
