Beatrice Bouvet-Bernal, a resident of Las Cruces New Mexico entered into eternal rest surrounded by her husband and family on Sunday, November 10, 2013. She was born in Garfield, N.M. on July 29, 1935 to Benjamin & Pueblita Bouvet. On the feast of Saint Martha whose life she emulated, always caring for the needs of others before herself. She is survived by her loving husband Aaron C. Bernal of 57 years. Her two sisters, Mary Baca of El Paso, TX and Tonia Cordero of Garfield, NM, two beautiful daughters, Nora and Claudine, five sons, Aaron Jr., and wife, Cecilia, Edward and wife, Patricia, Larry and wife, Edythe, Louis and wife, Dolores, and Raymond Bernal also her oldest grandchild, Jessica Gonzales who aided in caring for her during her illness, along with her twelve other grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to all. She was a faithful member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral with a deep devotion to our Blessed Mother Virgin Mary and her Rosary which she prayed daily. Public viewing from 6:00 pm followed by Funeral Vigil service and Rosary at 7:00 pm at Getz Funeral Home on Thursday, November 14, 2013 and Rite of Christian burial at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 10:00 am with internment at St. Joseph's cemetery. Pall bearers include five grandsons, Jacen, Jared, Aaron III, Justin, Louis Jr., and nephew, Chris Cordero. PDF Printable Version
