Beatriz Medrano, 84, of Las Cruces died Monday, Aug. 6, 2007. She was born May 4, 1923 in Cd. Juarez, Mexico to Juan and Juanita Medrano. Beatriz was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose passion life was to taking care of her family. All her family and friends who knew and loved her will forever miss her. Beatriz Medrano, 84, of Las Cruces died Monday, Aug. 6, 2007. She was born May 4, 1923 in Cd. Juarez, Mexico to Juan and Juanita Medrano. Beatriz was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose passion life was to taking care of her family. All her family and friends who knew and loved her will forever miss her. She is survived by her sons Raul Medrano of San Pedro, Mexico and Francisco Medrano of Juarez, Mexico; daughter Maria Medrano of Juarez, Mexico; brothers Eleno Vasquez, Ausevio Vasquez both of San Pedro, Mexico and Ricardo Vasquez of Juarez, Mexico; niece Mary Hernandez of Las Cruces and by many other grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Beatriz was preceded in death by her daughter Leonor Medrano; brother Castulo Vasquez and sisters Josephina and Lupe Vasquez. A prayer vigil will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, Aug. 10, 2007 at Getz Funeral Home where her funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM with Fr. Ricardo Bauza officiating.
