Bertha A. Rios, 77, born on April 13, 1934 in El Paso, Texas, has gone to her eternal rest on June 9, 2011. Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, the heart and soul of our lives, was very humble, selfless, caring, and giving to whomever she came in contact with. She was a dedicated and tireless homemaker who not only raised her nine children, but was the trusted and devoted child care giver to many, many, children throughout her years. Her friendly and hospitable home environment was not only a revolving door for her family, but their many friends as well. Many of them would drop by daily for lunch and she would have plenty of food ready. There are no words to describe Bertha's unconditional love, giving, and caring act of kindness to anyone who crossed her path, and her exceptional, nonjudgmental way of making you feel welcome into her family. Although she spent the latter part of her life battling health issues, you would never know it because she never complained about her ailments; instead she always asked about you and your family members. Bertha's presence at the numerous family celebrations was noted and cherished by all. This amazing woman will be greatly missed by her family and all those who knew her. Her incredible, positive influence and optimistic outlook on life along with her caring and loving spirit will forever live in our hearts.
