Bertha Paz passed away at home in Tortugas, NM surrounded by her family on March 5, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents Juan and Luz Ramirez as well as her husband Gabriel Paz. She is survived by her four children, Steve and Linda Paz, Douglas and Leticia Groves, Cynthia Paz and John Paz as well as her grandchildren, Ashley, Selina, Cecilia, Stevie Rae, Jared and Lindzee....
Bertha Paz passed away at home in Tortugas, NM surrounded by her family on March 5, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents Juan and Luz Ramirez as well as her husband Gabriel Paz. She is survived by her four children, Steve and Linda Paz, Douglas and Leticia Groves, Cynthia Paz and John Paz as well as her grandchildren, Ashley, Selina, Cecilia, Stevie Rae, Jared and Lindzee. She also had 6 great grandchildren. She was born on September 26, 1940 in Anthony, TX to Juan and Luz Ramirez. She was a lifelong resident of Tortugas, NM. She enjoyed reading, cooking, doing crossword puzzles, going to garage sales, collecting turtles and coffee cups, traveling and helping people. You never left her house without a full stomach. She was outgoing and compassionate. She loved to meet people and upon meeting them, would often say "Just call me Grammy." She will be greatly missed by many!
