"…For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:17-18. On New Year's Eve 1936 in Niagara Falls, NY, a bright light was born into this world, Beverly Ann Fronczak, to Casey Fronczak and Ilene Thiel. Although their marriage didn't withstand the tough times, her dad found a beautiful gem who was the best mother anyone could ever hope for in Ruth Weinheimer. In the years to come 3 boys were added to the family, Gary, Terry and Wayne Fronczak. Her years of growing up in rural western NY were filled with stories about attending a one-room school house, long bus rides to attend North Tonawanda High School and holidays with her large Polish/German family. On July 31, 1954, Beverly married John "Jack" Babcock. Sadly, not all marriages are made in heaven, but their children most certainly are. During their time together they were blessed with a wonderful son, Mark, and a beautiful daughter, Diana. During a time when ‘divorced' was an unpleasant label she learned to be strong and self-reliant. While visiting with her cousin during this time of transition she met and eventually married the man next door, Ralph Biddle, on November 13, 1965. The following year they were joined by a daughter, Dawn. Bev enjoyed cooking for her family, especially at holidays. Her gardens were spectacular. When Ralph retired in 1977 they decided they'd had enough of NY winters and found a warm friendly home in Roswell, NM. They lived the ‘…happily ever after' fairytale until Ralph's death in 1991. Ready for her next adventure she moved to Las Cruces, NM, in 1998. During her life she had many jobs in many different trades with great stories for each, but one of her favorites was with the NM Agency on Aging right here in Las Cruces, NM. When she finally said enough and retired, she enjoyed traveling with her good friend Bob Kennedy. But all good things must come to an end. On January 23, 2017, she moved on to her next great adventure where there is no more pain, weakness or sorrow. Still left to carry on are her son & daughter-in-law Mark & Suzie Babcock of Grapevine, TX, and their children Jonathan and Marlee, Daughter & son-in-law Diana & John Wolfe of Hempstead, TX, and her son Robert, Daughter & son-in-law Dawn & Philip VanVeen of Las Cruces, NM, and their daughter Amanda. Also, in NY is her brother & sister-in-law Gary & Maureen Fronczak of Gasport, NY, and their daughters Shelly, Karen (NC) & Marcy and her brother Terry Fronczak and his beloved Sherri , and in Crosshill, SC, is her sister-in-law Lynn Fronczak and her daughters Tracey (NY) & Kelly. Meeting her at those pearly gates is her husband Ralph, Mom & Dad, brother Wayne & his daughter Lorie, grandson Billy and a host of good friends who have been waiting to welcome her home. A special thank you to Eileen Schult, CNP and Cassandra her favorite HH nurse. Cremation was what she wanted and services will not be held. Instead, we ask everyone to remember the good times and be sure to show love to your family and friends while you still have them, life is short. PDF Printable Version
