He is survived by his wife Norma Jane Garcia of 38 love filled years. He retired from the City of Las Cruces, where he had dedicated 22 years of service in the Gas Meter Department. Billialdo "Bill" Garcia, 63 of Las Cruces New Mexico formally of Hatch New Mexico. He was born December 17, 1946 and peacefully passed September 25, 2010 at his home. He is survived by his wife Norma Jane Garcia of 38 love filled years. He retired from the City of Las Cruces, where he had dedicated 22 years of service in the Gas Meter Department. He is survived by six daughters, Julie Fields of Bonham, TX, Donna Zachary of Celeste TX, Tina Patrick of Roswell, NM, Peggy Garrison of Gainesville, TX, Roberta Smith of Whitewright, TX, Laurie Garcia of Dallas, TX, and one son, Billy Jr. Garcia of Las Cruces, NM. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, sisters, Elva Gonzales of Garfield, NM, Dolores Garcia of Las Cruces, NM. His brothers, Manuel Pete Garcia of Atlanta, Ga, and Santiago Garcia of Las Cruces NM. Other family members include: Aunts, Cuca Cabjal of Hatch, NM, Lucy Sanchez of TorC, NM, Lita Flores of San Jose Ca, Romona Lavin of TorC, NM and Stella Reyes of San Jose, CA, and his uncle Lawrence Garcia of Killeen, TX. His parents Pete and Cristina Garcia preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held at the Getz Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM Friday October 1, 2010. Don Adamski will be officiating.
