Billy E. Mills, 79, long-time resident of Las Cruces, entered into eternal rest last Monday, June 19, 2006. Billy was born in Colbert, Oklahoma, on November 7, 1926. In 1942 at the age of 16, Billy and his cousin Glen Alexander left Oklahoma to work the shipyards in Vancouver, Washington. In 1947 Billy went to work at White Sands Missile Range as a post engineer. Then in the late 1960s he started his own business, Mills Refrigeration. Billy was dedicated to his customers in the Las Cruces
