Billy J. Spence, 80 of Rincon, NM died Saturday January 10, 2009. He was born Dec. 27, 1928 in McHenry, W.VA, to Herman and Minnie Spence. He was retired from the US Government after many years of faithful service. Billy J. Spence, 80 of Rincon, NM died Saturday January 10, 2009. He was born Dec. 27, 1928 in McHenry, W.VA, to Herman and Minnie Spence. He was retired from the US Government after many years of faithful service. He had a passion for wood-working, helping his family and friends with electrical problems and traveling throughout the 48 states. Billy will be deeply missed by his family and many friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Juanita Spence of the family home; sons William Joseph Spence and wife Monica of Rockville, MD and Paul Spence and wife Faye of Garden Valley, ID, Daughter Deborah Horton and husband David of Oak Hills, CA, Grandchildren Steve Muro Jr. and wife Rebecca, Amanda Muro, Drew Spence, Holly Spence, Nathan Spence, Kami Spence, Taylor Spence and Great-Grandson Steve Muro III. Also by many Nieces and Nephews. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Twin sister Betty Jean Hubbalack, Sister Gloria Baade. A Memorial Service to celebrate Billy's life will be held at 1:00 PM Friday January 16, 2009 at Church at the Butte, Elephant Butte, NM with Pastor Robert Rachuig officiating. There will be a Memorial Service held in Hesperia, CA at a later Date. In lieu of flowers Billy's family would like Donations made to Mesilla Valley Hospice Inc. 299 E.
