in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Brock was born March 11 th , 1997, in El Paso, Texas to her mother Audrey

Monica Brock Hartley (Brock) passed away suddenly at 25 years of age on June 22 nd , 2022, at her home
in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Brock was born March 11 th , 1997, in El Paso, Texas to her mother Audrey
Hardman-Hartley, her father John Hartley, and older sister Blair Hartley.
As a child Brock participated in numerous activities including cheerleading, dancing, theatre, swimming,
volunteering at the animal shelter, and above all music and singing. She graduated from Onate High
School in 2015 and continued on to the University of New Mexico where she earned her Bachelor of Arts
in Speech and Hearing Sciences.
Brock was a fierce friend, a lover of animals and loved her family more than anything. Her love and
passion for music echoed her angelic singing voice. Brock was not only smart and talented but beautiful
beyond compare. Her thick long dark hair was a staple look and her smile lit up any room she walked in.
She used her voice to stand up for others and was never shy to tell you what she was thinking.
Brock is survived by her Father John and Sister Blair. Brock is Predeceased by her mother Audrey (March
6 th , 2021).
Brock will be having a memorial service Friday July 15 th , 2022, at 11:00am at Getz Funeral Home (1410 E.
Bowman Ave 575-526-2419). Following the memorial will be a small wake at Amaro Winery (402 S.
Melendres St. 575-527-5310)
