Calvin R. Sparks, age 43, a lifelong resident of Dona Ana passed away on Monday July 11, 2005. He was born May 24, 1962, in Ft. Sill, Ok. Calvin graduated from Mayfield High School class of 1980. Family survivors include his two daughters Sharon C. Garcia and Samantha L. Sparks, son Jeremy D. Sparks, and their mother Roberta Sylvis. Along with his two grandchildren Brianna and Anthony "Bubba" Gardner; mother Norma Jean and father Wilson Sparks; brother Elliot (Bill) Sparks; nephew Joshua Jackson; and Calvin's companion Cecilia Ceniceros. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Irvin and Eleanor Arnold, Paternal grandparents George C. and Sallie Mae Sparks. Two sisters Jeanine Sparks and Nancy E. Jackson, One brother Thomas Russell Sparks. Family and Friends will gather at Getz Funeral Home on Saturday July 16, 2005 from 10 AM to 12 PM for viewing and last respects.
