Caroline B. Kendall, 87, Las Cruces resident since 1972, died Sunday, April 5, 2009. She was born Feb. 25, 1922 in Westfield, New Jersey to Charles and Leepoidia Schnall Bullock Jr. Caroline had been a bookkeeper with many years of faithful service with Rawson Construction Co. and Animal Friends of Las Cruces and had also been employed with the Elephant Butte Irrigation District. Caroline B. Kendall, 87, Las Cruces resident since 1972, died Sunday, April 5, 2009. She was born Feb. 25, 1922 in Westfield, New Jersey to Charles and Leepoidia Schnall Bullock Jr. Caroline had been a bookkeeper with many years of faithful service with Rawson Construction Co. and Animal Friends of Las Cruces and had also been employed with the Elephant Butte Irrigation District. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her two sons John Kendall III and wife Jane of Gallup, NM and Ken Kendall and wife Debbie of Seattle, WA; daughter Karen Kendall and companion Michael Ball of Las Cruces; grandchildren John Kendall IIII, Erin Wallace and husband Eric, Ryan Kendall and Roy Wagner Jr. Also surviving her are 3 great-grandchildren and her former son-in-law Roy Wagner of Ruidoso, NM. Caroline was preceded in death by her loving husband John Kendall Jr. At her request cremation has taken place and no local services are scheduled at this time. Caroline's family would like to give a very special thanks to Dr. Hobert and the entire staff of La Posada and to Cindy and Mark McKinney for the loving care and compassion shown our mother.
