Cecilia A. Ayers "Celie Ann" Departed this life on October 16, 2014, in Las Cruces, New Mexico Born December 31, 1946 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Please join us in remembrance of a truly lovely lady. Celie Ann was a gifted artist, who saw beauty in nature and her fellow man. Her smile brought joy to everyone lucky enough to know her. She was preceded in death by proud parents Cecil and Margaret Soo, brothers Cecil Jr. and Donald Turney, sister Margaret Protack and sons Eric and Jeffery Hunter. She is survived by her loving family; husband Frederick R. Ayers, sisters Alyn Soo Eiler and Jeannie Miller (Eric), brother Daniel Soo (Annette), daughter in-law Sharon Hunter, grandson Jonathan Hunter and step children Catherine Ayers, Frederick R. Ayers, Jr. and Jessica Ayers. Celie Ann was blessed with nieces and nephews; Margaret, Monica, Maureen, Marianne, Angela, Gina, Elizabeth, Matthew, Donald, Brendan, Erin, Griffin and Luke. Her immediate family joined her in a wonderful mass prior to her death. She will be buried in Delaware in a family plot with her beloved sons.
