Charlene "Grandma" C. Malfer, 86 of Las Cruces died Thursday August 24, 2006. She was born June 6, 1920 in Mexico, Missouri to Lyndell and Creghead. Grandma loved to travel all over the country with her husband John and the members of the R.V. Club from Good Samaritan. Charlene "Grandma" C. Malfer, 86 of Las Cruces died Thursday August 24, 2006. She was born June 6, 1920 in Mexico, Missouri to Lyndell and Creghead. Grandma loved to travel all over the country with her husband John and the members of the R.V. Club from Good Samaritan. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. Her loving husband of 35 years John Malfer of the family home; sons Pastor Robert Fisher and wife Sharon of Orange, TX, Raymond Fisher of Tucson, AZ, Ronald Fisher and wife Norberta Hinojosa of Las Cruces and Dennis Malfer and wife Barbara of Richmond, VA survive Mrs. Malfer. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive her. A visitation will be held from 9 to 10 AM on Monday, August 28, 2006 at Getz Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow at 10:00 AM also on Monday at Masonic Cemetery with her son Pastor Robert Fisher officiating. PDF Printable Version
