Chase Cyrus Baker, age 19, left us far too soon on April 2, 2008. He was born July 5, 1988 to Mike and Linda Baker in Las Cruces, NM. He was a 2007 graduate of Las Cruces High School were he was an active member of the "Modernaires" show choir. Chase Cyrus Baker, age 19, left us far too soon on April 2, 2008. He was born July 5, 1988 to Mike and Linda Baker in Las Cruces, NM. He was a 2007 graduate of Las Cruces High School were he was an active member of the "Modernaires" show choir. Chase was a proud member of the 78th Security Force Squadron and stationed at Robins AFB, GA. Chase impacted many people. He was a sweet loving person and will be missed so much by those he touched. He is survived by his parents, Mike and Linda Baker of Las Cruces, Amanda Baker of Las Cruces, brothers Shayne and Robert Baker and sister Megan Shannon. He is also survived by his Great Grandmother Almeda Feltenberger, Great Grandparents Earl Sr. and Jean Watson, Grandparents Cyrus and LaDena Baker and Grandfather Gregory Watson. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. He will be remembered and his life celebrated in services on April 10, 2008 at 10:00 am at the Calvary Baptist Church (1800 S. Locust). Sam Swann will officiate the service. Following the service Chase will be interred with full military honors at Masonic Cemetery. PDF Printable Version
