Cheryl Ann Sparks, 66, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at her home in Las Cruces, NM. Cheryl was born on March 16, 1944 in Deming, NM to Leo and Ada Sparks. She lived throughout the Southwest, and as far away as Hawaii and Alaska, where she owned a small pet shop. While working on her Master's Degree in Education, she had a technical article published. Cheryl Ann Sparks, 66, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at her home in Las Cruces, NM. Cheryl was born on March 16, 1944 in Deming, NM to Leo and Ada Sparks. She lived throughout the Southwest, and as far away as Hawaii and Alaska, where she owned a small pet shop. While working on her Master's Degree in Education, she had a technical article published. Cheryl worked as a special education teacher and assistant principal for the Las Cruces and Silver City schools, and special education director for the schools in Northern Arizona. Cheryl will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her niece, Debra Larson, and great-niece Laura; a sister, Thyra Saucedo, and nephews Michael and Ronald Saucedo and their families. At Cheryl's request, a cremation has taken place and no funeral services are scheduled at this time.
