Claude Austin Pyle 85 of Las Cruces, NM passed away on Monday August 8, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born July 16, 1920 in Illinois. Claude served in WW II in the United States Navy for approximately three years. Claude graduated from the University if Chicago. He had been a physicist at White Sands Missile Range from about 1955 to 1975. He is survived by several nieces and one nephew. He is also survived by his dear friend Jim Madl of La Luz, NM, whom Claude and his wife looked upon as their very own son. Claude was preceded in death by his wife Gray L. Pyle, his parents Rolla R. and Winnie Edna Pyle and by one brother. Claude expressed a strong faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He is now in the presence of his Lord, his family and friends that have went on before him. According to Claude's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be private graveside service to inter his ashes in the near future. He will be buried next to his beloved wife, at the Masonic Cemetery in Las Cruces.
