Connie Faye Ewing Lyon passed away on July 15, 2013 in her lifelong hometown of Las Cruces, NM. Connie was born November 8, 1939 to Wayne Sr. and Faye (Hilton) Ewing. Connie spent her youth on the family farm in rural Dona Ana County and attended Las Cruces public Schools. She enjoyed travel, playing cards, and socializing with family and the many friends she acquired throughout her life. Connie is survived by her daughter Vicki Pricer Saba and her husband Mike of Dallas, TX., granddaughter Kristie Chabot of Alamogordo, grandson Tyler Hess of Alabama, brothers Wayne Ewing and Bill Ewing and wife Audie all of Las Cruces, sister Sharon Coats and husband Jim of Fairview, TX, numerous nieces and nephews and special friend Phillip Larsen of Las Cruces. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Brenda Pricer Hess. Funeral services for friends and family will be held at Getz Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 20th. Following a brief private family service at the graveside, we invite our friends to join us at noon for a luncheon at St. Clair Winery & Bistro, 1720 Avenida de Mesilla. PDF Printable Version
