It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Corina P. De Battista on November 11, 2022. Corina was born on November 12, 1934 to Victorina Chavez and Aciano Sandoval In Las Cruces. Corina lived in New Mexico until she met and married husband Raymond De Battista and moved to California with their young daughter and only child, Janice. There, she resided for over 60 years. Corina worked as a Clerical Administrator for Orange Coast College where she made many lifelong friends. Corina was a seamstress by trade and loved to read and garden. She had recently moved back to Las Cruces and passed away peacefully in her home with the ones that loved her by her side. Corina is preceded in death by Mother Victorina Chavez, Husband Raymond, and Daughter Janice De Battista. She is survived by her Nieces Edwina Avelar, son George and Dorine Perez, partner David and daughters Stevie and Alyx Triste. She was loved and will be missed by many other Nieces and Nephews
