Corina S. Martinez, 84 of Las Cruces, NM died Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Casa De Oro Care Center. She was born February 21, 1922 in Santa Rosa, NM to Cinforo and Bonifacia Salazar. A longtime resident of Las Cruces she was a member of St. Genevieve's Catholic Church and was a homemaker. Corina S. Martinez, 84 of Las Cruces, NM died Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Casa De Oro Care Center. She was born February 21, 1922 in Santa Rosa, NM to Cinforo and Bonifacia Salazar. A longtime resident of Las Cruces she was a member of St. Genevieve's Catholic Church and was a homemaker. Corina is survived by two daughters, Sandy Martinez of Santa Fe, NM; and Patsy Espinoza and her husband Juan of Rio Rancho, NM, and one son, Ralph Martinez and his wife Martha of Santa Fe, NM. Also surviving Corina is seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James M. Martinez, two sons, Jimmy Martinez and Frank Martinez and one grandson, Abraham Sanchez III. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Monday, March 27, 2006 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel where the Prayer Vigil will follow at 7 PM. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. PDF Printable Version
