He was born in St. Regis Falls, New York, on March 21, 1944, to William Henry Dufrane and Bernice Louise Surprise-Dufrane. Don Served in the Navy from 1964 - 1968. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donald A. Dufrane (Mouse), age 73, who passed away peacefully at his home June 9th, 2017. He was born in St. Regis Falls, New York, on March 21, 1944, to William Henry Dufrane and Bernice Louise Surprise-Dufrane. Don Served in the Navy from 1964 - 1968. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served his country proudly. Don moved his family from Silver City NM in 1988. Don was employed and retired with Porter Oil. He was currently working for Messon Farms until his passing. Donald is survived by his fianc Donna Grimes, his children: Kayla Dufrane (Paul), Toni Gieser (Kenny), Jackie Dufrane, Robert Dufrane (Jennifer), Jeff Dufrane. Also left to cherish his memory is his fiancs children: Jason Grimes (Martha), Jennifer Emery (Tad), his grandchildren: Ryan Sedillo, Maygan Sedillo, Marissa Sedillo, Alex Gieser, Kami Gieser, Mariah Gieser, Triysta Zornes, Ares Lemon, Alyssia Lemon, Dominic Dufrane, Brandon Dufrane, Samantha Dufrane, and Tabitha Dufrane. A memorial service will be held for Don on Saturday, June 17th, 2017, starting at 10:00am at Getz Funeral Home Service Information
