Dana Ruth Wagenhoffer

Dana Ruth Hamilton Wagenhoffer 56, went to her eternal home on Dec 17, 2022, where she was greeted with a glorious family reunion of our loved ones. Born Dec 4, 1966, to Homer and Beverly Hamilton in Las Cruces, NM. Dana had many passions including creating handmade jewelry which she sold on eBay as well as online auctions. She created websites where she excelled as an online store with motorcycle riders- leather goods, cremation and memorial jewelry and cool jewels and things. Her artistic creations were many and if you were lucky enough to come across her stores you came across a goldmine of her creations. Dana married Thomas Wagenhoffer on Sept. 27, 1985. Recently celebrating 37 years of marriage. Tom is Dana's rock and he cared for her during her illness. Dana is survived by her husband and best friend Tom, her two daughters Daysha (Jordan) and Robin. Her granddaughter IIona who is her greatest joy, all of Las Cruces. She is also survived by her mother Beverly Hamilton, sisters Mary Garcia and Diane Lunsford (Gregg), nieces Shanna Mirabal, Sheena Benavidez, Amanda Crego, Celina Melendrez all of Las Cruces. Her nephews Justin Hastie, Chase Blood, and TJ Melendrez. Her paternal Uncle and Aunt Douglas and Glynda Hamilton. Her maternal aunts Norma Ziegler and Brenda Carrillo as well as many cousins who she loved dearly. Dana is also survived by Tom's brothers and sisters, Dave (Tina), Eddie, Jason, Mike, Judy and JoAnn as well as their children. Dana is preceded in death by her grandchild Robin, her Father Homer Hamilton, her sister Peggy Hamilton, her brother-in-law Jerry Garcia and her Pops Johnny Bierner, Tom's sister Anna and Tom's mom, Hanna and her childhood best friend Jill Frietze. She was greeted at Heaven's gates by her family and friends who have gone on before her. Memorial services are scheduled for 2pm January 28, 2023, at East Mesa Baptist Church, 6160 Moongate Road Las Cruces, NM 88012. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. Amen Dana's Facebook profile reads "I am smart, funny and loved". Yes, she is! We love Dana with all of our hearts and will forever miss the joy and love she gave to us. We know she is at peace now.
