Daniel Baca Jaramillo, 85, of Reserve, New Mexico, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011. Daniel was born in Aragon, New Mexico, on July 21, 1926. He grew up in the Aragon-Horse Springs area and spent his early years in the U.S. Navy where he served our country honorably. Daniel Baca Jaramillo, 85, of Reserve, New Mexico, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011. Daniel was born in Aragon, New Mexico, on July 21, 1926. He grew up in the Aragon-Horse Springs area and spent his early years in the U.S. Navy where he served our country honorably. Upon returning from the Navy-he became a Sawyer for the sawmills in Reserve and spent over 40 years at this job. He enjoyed retirement by hunting, fishing, working on the ranch and just sitting-enjoying the day with his wife Vestina of over 55 years. He will be deeply missed by his many friends and family. Daniel is survived by his wife Vestina, his daughter Theresa Jaramillo Jones, and husband Jack of Las Cruces, along with two grandsons-Doran and Troy who enjoyed and adored their grandpa and his stories. Also surviving him is his sister Mary Howard, and husband Ken. Several nieces and nephews will miss their "Uncle Danny". He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Maria, brother Tony Jaramillo and sister Helen Livingston. His funeral mass to celebrate his life will be held at Saint Frances of Assisi Church-Middle Frisco- in Reserve, New Mexico on Friday, September 2nd at 10:00 am. Honorary Pallbearers are Danny Glen Livingston, Carl Livingston, Daryl Nowak, Eugene Armijo, Eddie Romero, Rick Baca, Clay Atwood, Pete Jaramillo, Doran and Troy Jones. PDF Printable Version
