David F. McAllister, 66, of Las Cruces, NM, formerly of Fremont, Mi. Entered eternal Life on Wednesday March 21, 2007. He was born in Chicago, IL July 10, 1940, to James and Jessie McAllister. David F. McAllister, 66, of Las Cruces, NM, formerly of Fremont, Mi. Entered eternal Life on Wednesday March 21, 2007. He was born in Chicago, IL July 10, 1940, to James and Jessie McAllister. David Married Carol Jean Dykman in October 1967. They moved to Fremont in April of 1968. David worked for Hostess Cakes for 15 years, becoming known as "Twinkie Man". He later went to work for Schwans Sales Enterprises and retired in 1996. He and his wife retired to Las Cruces later that year. David remained retired for only two months before going to work for Eagle Quick Mart. Where he worked for 11 years, with special friends, Ed Hayes, "owner" and Bev Ginanni, "partner in crime". Dave always enjoyed Meeting people, giving customers a "hard time" and he always enjoyed his jobs. David loved being on the golf course with his many friends, such as Bob Hogue and Jerry Elliot. He loved visiting with friends, telling stories, and spending time with his family. David was a member of the Sonoma Springs Presbyterian Church. David is survived by his beloved wife of 39
