David L. Grooms

David Luther Grooms, 33, of Las Cruces died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010. He was born May 2, 1977 in Las Cruces to Priscilla David Lee Grooms. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish with Lynn and his family. David's passion in life was dirt track racing at the Las Cruces Speedway; unfortunately he had to retire from racing do to health. David is also survived by his sister Tracey Jones and husband Karl; brother Stacey grooms and wife Jennifer and by his beloved Lynn Harwood; nieces Cody and Jessica Bachman, Emma and Hadie Grooms. He recently had a nephew Kody Cash Jones join our family. His beloved maternal grandparents Dutch and Wanda Brumley. David had many aunts, uncles and cousins who he was very close to.
