David Valles Herrera, 73, of Las Cruces, Mexico , passed away on April 23, 2019, surrounded by family. He was born to parents David Augilar and Juanita Valles Herrera, on December 6, 1945, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. David Valles Herrera, 73, of Las Cruces, Mexico , passed away on April 23, 2019, surrounded by family. He was born to parents David Augilar and Juanita Valles Herrera, on December 6, 1945, in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Toby graduated from Las Cruces High School and received a degree in Finance from New Mexico State University. He is survived by his wife Rosanna Munoz. David is also survived by daughters, Rachel Parrot and partner Aaron Parrot, Veronica Herrera, Geneva Herrera. Sons, David M Herrera, Michael John Herrera and Andres Edmundo Herrera a U.S. Army Veteran and current Sergeant in the Army National Guard, as well as a host of grandchildren. David was known for his love of fishing and outdoor recreation. David was also a Vietnam Veteran Serving in the United States Army National Guard, where he served a total of 28 years in service working multiple positions for the United States Army, achieving a respectable rank of Sergeant First Class. Upon his retirement from the Army, he continued his love of fishing and many handy-man projects to include home improvement and automobile repair. Upon his mother's illness, he then devoted his time to being a full time caregiver until his mother's passing in 2014. The Funeral service will be held on Friday July 12th,2019 at 10 a.m. at St. Genevieve's Church & burial to follow at St. Josephs Cemetery. Service Information
