Debi True Rounds

Debi True Rounds was born Sept. 28, 1956 and passed on Feb. 16, 2009. Debi was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Debi was involved in many community organizations throughout her life, amongst them: United Methodist Women, Rotary International, Dona Ana Arts Council, South Plains Antique Tractor Association, Texas Two-Cylinder Club, Methodist Handbell Choir. Debi has touched us all with her whimsical nature, contagious smile and laugh and her ability to love unconditionally. Debi is survived by her loving husband Stan Rounds of the family home; sons Randall Smith of Lubbock, TX and Chris Rounds and wife Amy of Hobbs, NM; daughters Rebecca Smith of Lubbock, TX and Disa Walker and husband Jeremy of Hobbs, NM; parents Margaret and Riley True of Plainview, TX; brother Mark True, wife Mary, and nieces Kaitlyn and Kristen True of Plainview, TX; granddaughter Haylee Walker and grandson Ryan Rounds both of Hobbs, NM. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009 at Getz Funeral Home. A memorial celebration will be held 2:00 P.M, on Friday, Feb. 20, 2009 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Whitley officiating. Funeral Services will he held Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at Grace United Methodist Church in Plainview, TX with interment to follow at Park Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery also in Plainview, TX. In celebration of Debi's life, the family requests that festive colors be worn.
