Debra Ann Sanchez, 52, lifelong resident of Las died after fighting a long illness on Friday, June 13, 2008. She was born August 10, 1955 in Las Cruces. Debra had a passion for arts and crafts but excelled in drawing and sketching. All her family and friends who knew and loved her will forever miss her. She is survived by her two brothers Abe and Steven Gamboa both of Las Vegas, NV; uncle Augustin "Junior" Sanchez of Las Cruces; aunts Ester Montes and husband Gilbert and Ruby Montoya all of Las Cruces. Also surviving her is a very special cousin and caretaker Christy Chavez as well as other cousins. Debra was preceded in death by her mother Virginia Gamboa; step-father Mike Gamboa; sister Missy; aunt Dolores Ferrell and by her maternal grandparents Augustin and Erlinda Sanchez. Memorial Services to celebrate her life will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Getz Funeral Home with Fr. Narciso Rivera officiating.
