Dolores H. Goodrow

Dolores H. Goodrow, 85, of Las Cruces, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009. She was born April 2, 1924 in Wilmerding, PA to Walter and Ruth Wilcox Hassler. Dolores was a retired Hypnotherapist. She enjoyed golfing, cooking, yoga and had been a yoga instructor, but her passion was for her family. Dolores will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her two daughters Diane Powell and husband David of Las Cruces and Debra Simmerly and husband Herbert of Oneonta, NY; step-children Michael Freeman of Franklin, TN, Rebecca Vitale of Chardon, Ohio and Lynne Schoeneman and husband Ray of Franklin, TN; grandchildren Melissa and husband Walter, Erica, Rebecca, Jacquelyn, Austin, Nicole and Heather. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her. Dolores's family members who have preceded her or died after her death are her 1st husband Donald Biltz Jr., 2nd husband Thomas Freeman, granddaughter Samantha and two sisters Shirley Goodson and Linda Boris. Memorial Services to celebrate her life will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009 at Peace Lutheran Church with Pastor Steve Loy officiating.
